Adria Drift Series 2015 RD4: METRO CITY Results

Ada Huja, Belgrade [SRB] – September 06, 2015 – after summer break Adria Drift Series hitted Belgrade for Round 4 – METRO CITY, where Slovenian drifter Uroš Berdajs took his first victory in his BMW E36 Compact.

Round 4 – METRO CITY took place on Ada Huja in Belgrade. Most of the 22 drivers coming from Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia were back on the black top, head to head after a long summer break,

“It's nice to come and bring Adria Drift Series to one of the biggest cities in the region and feel the adrenalin rush again after a summer break« said Drey, General Manager of the Adria Drift Series. “The battles were once again very tight and that's what the crowd likes to see and I think drivers enjoy that also!“

The most surprising battle in the TOP16 was the one between Berdajs and Stevanovič. Berdajs the current leader in championship fell asleep for a little bit and barely advanced to Great Eight. Definite disappointment was for Šorak, who had to forfeit from his second run with Burmudžija due to a clutch failure.

The Final Four shootouts were not as tens as always, until the battle between Znaor and Savić, where Znaor advanced after a one more time round.

In the Final Four Berdajs went head to head with Foler and Znaor against Simić. Both Berdajs and Znaor advanced to the final battle and we had almost the same scenario as it was in Zagreb, but this time Uroš Berdajs (Berdajs Drift Team) showed his teeth, got back to Ivo Znaor (BMW Club Imotski) and won the race. Dario Foler (BMW Drift Team Motordiht) took the third position without fight, because Goran Simić (Gox Motorsport) had problems with his differential in Final four battle against Znaor.
